About the role:
We are now looking for a System Engineer to join our Infrastructure team based in Stockholm, Sweden. We have a team of System Engineers working across On-premise and Public Cloud ensuring our core infrastructure stays up-to-date, available and secure. The goal is to provide our infrastructure platform as a service to our developers and products when we continue moving, creating new services in the cloud.
As a System engineer you support our developers so that they may focus on our products. Our code is well organized and structured. About you:
We see that you have a solid Linux background with broad systems experience. You have been working with on premise setups and also understands cloud services in AWS. You have been working with containers and know a coding/scripting language. We use Go and Python.
You have a mind-set to automate and avoid repetitive tasks. You are a team player open to share your knowledge and experience as well as able to learn from others. You probably spent a few years in IT Operations teams following operational processes such as ITIL and are no stranger to ISO27001. As the industry moves fast we believe you are keen to learn new technologies/tools etc to keep up with the latest.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and develop our core infrastructure (Monitoring, Incident resolution, RCA, Availability are done in collaboration with our NOC team).
- Implement automation of infrastructure activities and CI/CD as a standard practise and create development guidelines.
- Play a key role in modernization of our current infrastructure and ways of working.
Who you are:
- Solid experience working with Linux.
- AWS experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English language and interpersonal skills.
- Up to date with current technology and trends, with an ability to grasp new technologies quickly.
- You are keen on efficiency and takes performance & scalability very seriously.
- Customer-focused, service oriented approach to your assignment.
- Good understanding of DevOps culture, practices and tools.
