This position is a rare opportunity… an opening on one of Lockheed Martin’s most successful programs! Come join the MARK IV-B team! We are the leading weather program of US Armed Force that receives meteorological satellite data from all over the world. Our 9 ground station around the world provide critical situation awareness weather data for our frontline troops. Our servers control the antennas, obtain and manipulate the data, then provide the images to our client product. Our client product itself provides our users with countless functionalities for our downloaded data. MARK IV-B handles everything from start to finish. We are currently looking to expand our software team and will create the perfect role for the right individual.
This engineering position will assist with the USAF satellite data exploration web application development and upgrades. This position will also assist with the global system monitoring software which tracks system activity from all sites and monitors the operations.
