GEHC BMH SW Engineer Job Description
The Denali NPI will deliver GEHC's next generation DXA system providing a scalable HW/SW platform that spans across the Performance, Premium, and Value market segments with improved clinical outcomes. We are looking for a Software Engineer contractor to support this program from our Madison, WI location as part of a global cross-functional team.
Scope
" Work with LSD and SW Engineering teams at GEHC Madison, WI and Bangalore India sites to develop and test software for Denali NPI program.
" Define, develop, and evolve software engineering solutions in a fast paced lean/agile environment
" Design robust software system architectures that align with multi-generational software framework and allows for future product expansion
" Work closely with systems, application, marketing, service, clinical teams and customers to refine requirements and system design
" Interact with global teams across Client Healthcare to maximize synergies across common software platform components
" Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across all phases of software development
Qualifications
" Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
" Demonstrated experience in C++ and object orientated design methodologies in a Windows environment
" Experience with Python, Visual Studio, Gitlab
" Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements
" Strong oral and written communication skills.
" Medical device design and development experience desired
