IMAGO is a leading image & video provider for media, brands & sports, based in Berlin. Over 10.000 national & international top clients use a variety of media from IMAGO, from news videos to stock photos, for their editorial & commercial productions. Spanning two close-by offices and 70 employees, IMAGO still operates with flat hierarchies.

We are looking for a highly motivated front-end developer Intern (JavaScript React) to join our team.

The position is available immediately and can be in our Berlin office, hybrid, or fully remote.

Tasks

Implementation of new features for our Website using JavaScript, React, and RESTful APIs
Dedicated Frontend Development and no requirement to do any backend development
Depending on your experience level, you will work closely with a Senior Developer or on your own projects
Working together with a Product Manager and a Designer to ensure the code you write serves a purpose and you have all designs prepared before you start developing
Ensuring readability, testing, and documentation you will receive feedback in regular code reviews with your Senior Developer
Tickets with Jira, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and Zeplin

Requirements

Frontend development experience
JavaScript experience
React experience is not required but a plus
You don’t need to be an expert yet or have a university degree, but be talented and motivated to develop yourself and IMAGO
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Good written and spoken English is mandatory. German is a plus but not required.
